We are new to the area so are on the hunt for a favorite pizza place. Ray’s Pizza did not disappoint. We ordered two medium (15 inch) pizzas for our group. They were ready in a relatively short period of time and were piping hot and tasty. We ate at the restaurant, where they also serve both soda and beer. We were all happy with our meals, and will not hesitate to make another trip to Rays. One small observation though ... next time, we will request that they use a little more sauce on our selection.
I moved from NJ/NY and have been searching the surprise area for a pizza place. THIS IS IT. So far the closest thing you can get to east coast pizza. Delicious! Wings and pizza were great. Def our new place!
I love this place !!! I’ve tried a few other pizza places in surprise and this is by far the best place , that is if you like NY style pizza. Their eggplant and meatball subs are also amazing. Did I say I LOVE RAYS PIZZA if I could give it more stars I would.
Ordered the lasagna as I always do with a new restaurant. Very tasty. Daughter has spaghetti and meatballs, great portions. I do regret not ordering a pizza as the must have had 20 people come in and out getting to go orders.
I am asking myself why I’ve never visited this location before. I’ve been to Rays in Glendale many times, but never remember this location is here. Located in a shared shopping center with Albertsons there is plenty of parking. The location is small, but offers a good amount of booths and tables. You order at the counter then they bring out your food. We ordered a large pepperoni and hot wings along with a few drinks. Service was great and our food came out pretty fast. Everything looked delicious. The wings were steaming and sauced well. The wings are fried which we love and gives them a crispy bite. Pizza is cheesy, greasy (not overly) and plenty of toppings. Perfect. Crust was good and didn’t flop down when picked up. Would be perfect reheated in the oven for added crisp. We left full and happy. The location was clean, no frills pizza spot. They do have one tv I believe, but we were too busy eating to watch it. Great stop today.

I’ve never had my cheese string out like this before. It is so amazing good. The perfect amount of sauce and toppings. The crust thin to desired texture and crisp and crunch. So good.
This isn't your pizza hut pizza! It is authentic Italian style hand tossed, the toppings are always plentiful. You are always greeted when entering the restaurant. We have their Monster pizza but we added olives, mushroom & green peppers on their original crust. I love their sauce & their toppings are wonderful. It's a medium size place with tables & booths it's always clean & they are very polite & courteous. When we are in Surprise & in the mood for a great pizza this is our families choice. They have many other menu items wings, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes and desserts, plus free drink refills. So if your in the mood for pizza give them a try you won't be disappointed.
